William Gene Daniels, 36, of 210 1/2 S. Walnut St., died Wednesday morning in Culver Hospital after an extended illness. He had been a carpenter employed in construction work in the Crawfordsville area. Born Feb. 18, 1940, he was a son of Lester and Opal Cochran Daniels. Surviving are five brothers, Benjamin of Russellville, Oliver of Crawfordsville, Charles of Waveland, and Ralph and James of Rt. 1, Poland; and two sisters, Mary Daniels of Rt. 1, Poland, and Luville Holland of Jackson, Ky. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday in Whitaker Funeral Home at Cloverdale with the Rev. Homer Cochran officiating. Burial will be in Cunot Cemetery in Owen County. Friends may call at the funeral home after 4 p.m. Friday.--waw
